Description
This webinar is the first in a series of webinars on laboratory accreditation for state food and feed testing laboratories. In this session the presenters will discuss the FDA’s Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA) Laboratory Accreditation Program and the advantages of obtaining accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2005. They will also discuss the structure of the standard and present an overview of the Management System and Technical requirements in ISO/IEC 17025:2005.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this program, the participant will be able to:
  • Describe the benefits of a quality management system
  • Introduce the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 requirements needed for implementation
