The next phase of work on the Public Health Laboratory Competency Guidelines project is targeted on a collaborative effort to integrate competencies into the public health laboratory system to improve performance management, professional development, and other human resource processes. During this webinar, Dr. William Rothwell will discuss ways industry leadership have integrated competencies into their human resource management systems in their organizations.
At the conclusion of this program, the participant will be able to:
- Discuss competencies as it relates to managing an individual’s work functions and performance
- Discuss competencies as it relates to managing/addressing organizational and broader (PHL) system workforce development
- Describe two ways to integrate competencies into human resource management in an organization
