Description
This introductory webinar introduces a graphical means to understand the ISO/IEC 17025 international standard for testing and calibration laboratories. The webinar also introduces a four-level hierarchy of laboratory documents and shows the relationships to the laboratory’s quality and technical documents. The contents of a laboratory quality manual are introduced. At the conclusion of the webinar, participants are given instructions for preparing for the on-site workshop.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this program, the participant will be able to:
- Describe ISO/IEC 17025 as a process-based model
- Diagram and explain 4 different types of documents
- Describe the contents of a quality manual
- List several uses for the quality manual
