Sessions will cover domestic and international outbreak investigations by state  and local laboratorians in cooperation with federal partners at CDC, USDA, and FDA. Technical sessions will explain the latest software improvements, the validation of whole genome sequencing laboratory and analytical platform protocols, and regional/national surveillance tools.

Optional troubleshooting and programmatic sessions on Monday afternoon and sunrise sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings will allow attendees to engage in one-on-one interactions with experts from CDC and corporate partners.

Participants include Public Health laboratory personnel who are part of the PulseNet network, foodborne disease epidemiologists involved with OutbreakNet, environmental health professionals, personnel from the Centers for Diseases Control & Prevention, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and international Public Health agencies.
