Description:
Clinical and public health laboratories often feel as is if they work in parallel rather than together. What is missing is the "panoramic view” of how successfully they can work together. This program will discuss a series of case studies and examples which highlight the importance of clinical and public health laboratory partnerships to support the health of the community.

Objectives:
At the conclusion of this program, the participant will be able to:

  • Discuss the importance of public-private partnerships.
  • Identify examples of how public-private partnerships benefit the health of the community.

Who Should Attend:
This basic to intermediate-level program is appropriate for laboratory professionals working in clinical, public health and academic settings.

Continuing Education Credit:
The Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E.® Program. Participants who successfully complete each program will be awarded 1.0 contact hours. P.A.C.E.® is accepted by all licensure states except Florida. APHL is a Florida approved CE provider; each course has been approved for 1.0 ontact hours for Florida Laboratory Licensees.
To receive continuing education credit, you must view the program and complete the online evaluation by May 9, 2013.


Site Registration:

Registration fee per site: $115.00 includes one connection to the live webinar plus unlimited access to the archived webcast for six months. If additional connections are used for the live program, an additional program fee will be billed to you. Contact the registrar (240.485.2727) if you need to register multiple sites.
Please note: You will be automatically registered for the online archived version if your payment is received after the registration deadline.

You may pay online using a credit card. If you would like to pay by check, please request a registration form from the APHL Registrar at 240.485.2727. Send a check made out to "APHL" to APHL Registrar PO Box 79117, Baltimore, MD, 21279-0117. Be sure to attach a registration form and include the number of the course on the check. If no registration form is received your check will be deposited but you may not be registered for the course or get a confirmation notice. We do not accept purchase orders. We are unable to offer refunds for cancellations.
